The middle school aged monks built a goat shed in under two-hours for the liberated goats. It was amazing to watch them at work, the worked like a hive of bees, in perfect synchronicity. They did everything from find bamboo, cut it down and into poles, locate scrap metal, dig post holes, and construct the shed. They used local and reclaimed materials. Ever wonder what happens to old khatas? Old khatas are the monastic equivalent to duct tape. š
